China Advanced Manifest Regulations (US Export)

To Our Valued Customers: 

Chinese Customs has updated their advanced manifest regulations and requirements for US exports.  Effective June 1st, the following is now required on the ocean export bill of lading:

 

1.         Shippers EIN number

2.         Shippers telephone number

3.         Consignee’s Company Name

4.         Consignee’s Company Code – USCI ( Unified Social Credit Identification) or OC (Organization Code)

5.         Consignee’s contact and telephone number

6.         Notify Party’s Company Code - USCI ( Unified Social Credit Identification) or OC (Organization Code)

-          Mandatory if consignee is “To Order”

7.        Notify Party’s contact and telephone number

-          Mandatory if consignee is “To Order”

 

Laufer is required to submit the above information by the ocean carrier’s documentation cut.    Please begin sending this information with your shipper’s instructions.    The ocean carrier will transmit this information 24 hours prior to vessel ETD from port of loading.

This manifest regulation is required for all shipments destined to and transiting through China.
