What Built Different meant to one importer

Not long ago we began working with an importer, and as we reviewed the shipments they wanted us to handle, their initial paperwork revealed that their imports were mislabeled with regard to U.S. Fish and Wildlife regulations.

We brought this to their attention because we wanted to make sure they didn’t experience any surprises or unnecessary problems. Surprisingly, they told us that none of their previous shipment brokers had ever mentioned this. We explained that if U.S. Fish and Wildlife had flagged it, there would be complications and delays. In our view, our customer needed a logistics partner that managed the details the right way.
